Welcome to the Four Thousand Six Hundred and Ninety First Annual Showclass Spacecraft Convention! For over four thousand years, the SSC has provided an in-depth and optionally competitive environment for spacecraft pilots from every Sector to enjoy their -and others'- spacecraft in a show-like competition! Navigation Pods are always available and readily accessible at any of our six thousand Customer Service Nodules. Please, enjoy your visit, and may the BEST SPACECRAFT WIN!
The loudspeakers clicked and began repeating the welcome message again in assorted Universal languages. I sighed.
"This is so cheesy, Simon. Why did you even convince me to come?"
SIMON chirped indignantly before responding.
<<Social interaction is important, even to your species.>>
I sighed and rolled my eyes. SIMON chirped again.
"Oh fine, we'll go look around. I still say I don't like people gawking at Chaos."
Chaos hummed from behind me, and the seventy or so assorted organisms gasped/muttered in amazement/bubbled/squeaked/whatever. Chaos was parked in a circular depression in the floor of the Convention Center. Various other spacecraft sat in their own depressions in rows on either side of a huge walkway. Organisms from all sorts of planets meandered back and forth, admiring some crafts and looked disgustedly at others. Chaos was a little more crowded than the other ships, as it was the only Voidship-class craft present (and the only voidship in the universe).
So, you tell it from your point of view. Your craft, your species, etc.
The only major plot line you have to be concerned with is that early in the story, our spacecrafts are stolen and a virus of some sort is released in the Convention. Working together as a team, using the assorted abilities each of our species bring to the table, we must defeat/capture/whatever the "bad guy" and escape the Convention.
**Please note the Convention is about the size of the state of Texas, sphere-shaped, and orbiting a larger planet. Therefore, you can't just "walk outside" to escape. If the ships are still in the convention, but hidden, we will have to find them there. If not, we will have to find a way to get off of the mini-planet and get them back. Please also make sure you are a different species from everyone else, just to make it interesting.
**Also, we are all equipped with translators, so you don't have to worry if you can only communicate with clicks or burbles or whatnot, we all "speak English" so to say.
