...Make sure you read the "Please read before posting" post... Oh, and you need to start a story, from the point of view of one of the characters.

I fixed it.
Here, let me start.
"Is that her?! Is that my little Arabella?" The black-haired child was enveloped in a flurry of cream skirts and tight hugs as soon as she stepped through the door of the mansion. Her assaulter was her Aunt Diane, who fawned over her to no end. Her parents came up behind her, smiling and greeting Uncle Roger, who stood behind Aunt Diane looking as gruff as always. It had been a long, long time since Arabella had been to the Rothfield Mansion, second-in-charge household of the Davenport 'complex'; she was eleven now, and hadn't been here since she was six. The sight of the black-and-white tile floors, the enormous windows with red draperies, the rich mahogany of the grand staircase, the vases of brilliant flowers adorning every corner of the room.....It was a sight like no other. Being Chromaggia Arabella Davenport, princess and heir to the Davenport family's entire fortune, Arabella was usually trapped in London, the showcase doll of her family's wealth. But now, she was free, finally free, although for all the wrong reasons. A kitchen fire that had mounted into a full-blown inferno had destroyed the entire west wing of the Davenport Mansion, so now they were refugees, forced to flee to the safety of Father's brother's home. "I'm so sorry, oh, your house!" Aunt Diane, a beautiful blonde, exclaimed, still kneeling on the ground and smothering the child in blue against her pleated bosom. "You must be in such dreadful disarray! I hope you have builders to repair everything." Here Aunt Diane held Arabella out from her, examining the girl with puckered lips. "Your whole doll collection must have been totally destroyed, you poor darling!" And once again, Arabella was crushed in a hug by Aunt Diane. Truly, though, she didn't mind. It had been a long carriage ride, and watching mother crochet a new shawl had lost its interest quickly. Arabella really appreciated a little comfort at the moment. As Uncle Roger and Father discussed the reconstruction of the west wing and Mother spoke to Aunt Diane about how tall and pretty Arabella had become (despite the fact that she was actually rather short), Arabella looked over Aunt Diane's pouffed shoulder at the house behind her. She hardly remembered her last visit other than watching Father and Uncle Roger arguing over scotch and backgammon while the elderly butler, Frederick, leant over Uncle Roger's shoulder and suggested the next move, or trying to be ladylike and play croquet with Mother and Aunt Diane. She also remembered a little bit of romping about the house, but she was mostly confined to her room, since Aunt Diane was rather afraid that all the romping would break an expensive vase. Now, however, Arabella was grown-up...sort of. She could go where she wanted. As she very smugly smiled at this revelation, Arabella's eyes traveled over the servants that stood attentively by the end of the staircase. Lettie, the pretty, blonde head maid, smiled and waved at her when Arabella caught her eye; her sister, plainer brunette Sophie, smiled and waved, too. The cook, Richard, a gruff, dark-haired man who never shaved quickly enough, gave a half-grin and a nod. And then....What was this? "Oh!" she whispered to herself. In the place of the head of the family's servile workers, the butler, where Frederick should have been, a new man was standing. Arabella's deep grey eyes widened at the sight of him. He was tall and lean, and very, very pale. His black hair fell in several unkempt locks that framed his angular, bony face, and the rest of it, quite long, was tied with red ribbon in a neat ponytail at the nape of his neck. His butler uniform was well-starched, plain, and black. But his eyes....God....those eyes! Arabella could scarcely look at them without being sucked into their turbulent, violet and red depths! She didn't realize herself to be blushing, mouth agape, until the butler gave her a kind, humorous smile and chucked a bit, covering his hand politely with his mouth. At the same time as being charming, however, there was something very, very disquieting about this new butler, about the hungry way he looked into her eyes.... "Oh, my dears, you must want to rest!" Arabella jumped at Aunt Diana's outcry. "The butler will show you to your rooms now. You can freshen up before dinner."

Fixed it by deleting it. It didn't follow the 'rules'. A daemon. Demon. Evil spirit?

Pretty much, he's just your average evil demon, specifically something akin to the Other Mother from 'Coraline' mixed with an incubus. You can write him as a normal person for now! He's just an ordinary butler....at the moment. Muahahaha. ;D
